NEW YEAR TO MAKE CHANGES FOR THE ENVIRONMENT!

As we approach the end of 2009, we know that more progress has been made in the fight against global warming. Remember though, everything we have done to make changes in our lives is still only a small portion of what we need to work on. Enlighten others who may still be unaware of what they can do to slow climate change. Continue your own efforts to use less energy, recycle more, and spread the word in a gentle way that people respond to.

Remember, the Earth is not something we have inherited from our ancestors, it is something we are borrowing from our children.

As the holidays approach, remember to give our environment a gift this year! Purchase products from manufacturers who don't pollute, cause animals to suffer, or otherwise harm the planet. Dress warmly so you can avoid running heaters, plan your pick ups of friends so you don't have to sit in an idling car, and try to get your shopping done in as few trips as possible!
